Handling a Level 1 FADEC fault centers on preserving safe engine control and avoiding modes that bypass FADEC protections. The training switch is intended only for maintenance or flight-test training to simulate scenarios, not for in-flight fault management. Engaging it during a Level 1 FADEC fault would put the FADEC into a non-normal state, potentially masking the fault, altering engine limits, or producing unexpected engine response. That can hinder proper fault isolation and compromise safety. Therefore, do not use the training switch when a Level 1 FADEC fault is noted. The other controls serve unrelated in-flight or ground functions and do not address FADEC fault handling in the same way.
